Very Low Sulphur Coal (VLSC)

Very low sulphur coal (VLSC) is coal with sulphur content that is less than 0.2%. under Air-Dried Basis (ADB) analysis.

This coal is often sought after by power plants that need to meet mandated sulphur dioxide emission standards but have not installed flue gas delsuphurisation (FGD) equipment often known as Scrubbers.
